Farewell to Lukas van der Burg: A cheerful colleague goes into retirement

We are saying goodbye to a very special colleague: Lukas van der Burg. After 18 years in sales for the Benelux region, Lukas is now embarking on a new chapter in his life - his well-deserved retirement. It is not easy for us to let “our funny Dutchman” go, who has enriched the working day for many with his professional commitment, his humor and his infectious good mood.

In the farewell photo, Lukas is joined by his successor Marc Schmitz and his department manager Thomas Schatten. Marc is taking over a great legacy, and we are sure that he will fill the shoes of our experienced colleague with commitment and drive.

During his time with us, Lukas has not only impressed us with his high level of professionalism, but has also distinguished himself with his special team spirit.

We particularly remember the annual run & fun company run, where he motivated the team year after year with his tireless energy. We will never forget the year in which he finished last - not because he was exhausted, but because he spontaneously decided to stop and dance with a music group on the course. This moment showed what Lukas is all about: always enjoying life and never missing an opportunity for a happy experience.

Even in retirement, Lukas will not let go of his passion for sport. In future, he will certainly be out on his racing bike more often, enjoying the freedom and exploring new routes without the pressure of deadlines. But family life will also play a major role in his everyday life and Lukas will now be able to spend a lot of time with his grandchildren - a task he is very much looking forward to.

We wish you, dear Lukas, all the best for this new chapter in your life. We will miss your laughter and your humorous nature, but we are happy for you that you now have time to pursue your many interests and enjoy your life to the full. Thank you for the years we spent together!
