New M5 flange parts from binder: A solution for compact connector systems where space is at a premium

As industrial applications become ever more compact, the requirements for space-saving yet robust connector solutions are increasing. Here binder offers an answer with its new angled M5 flange parts. These are standardized in accordance with DIN EN IEC 61076-2-105 and have been specially developed to ensure reliable connections even in extremely confined spaces.

Compact design for demanding requirements

The angled M5 flange parts have a robust metal housing with an extremely space-saving size of just 7.5 x 7.5 mm. These flange parts are characterized by splayed positioning pins, which enable stable positioning on the PCB before the soldering process and offer additional protection against twisting. A secure connection to the counterpart is ensured by the screw lock. When connecting the flange parts, the recessed O-ring is compressed in a defined manner up to the stop on the housing, thus ensuring a reliable seal.
 

Flexibility for a wide range of applications

The M5 flange parts are particularly suitable for industrial applications where every millimetre counts, for example in automation, robotics, measurement and control technology and analysis devices. Typical applications include industrial camera technology, sensors, cobots and drones.
