Product update and technical training at Stulz Cosmotec on Lake Garda

Our most recent trip took us to our long-standing supplier Stulz Cosmotec, where we enjoyed two days of intensive technical training and a constructive exchange of ideas. The picturesque Lake Garda provided the perfect backdrop for exciting discussions and valuable insights into the latest developments in the field of thermal management and refrigeration systems.

During these two days, we immersed ourselves in the technology of Cosmotec products. Particularly interesting was the intensive examination of the “WebSelect” selection software, which enables efficient planning of thermal management solutions. The “XShark” software, which was specially developed for planning refrigeration systems, was also discussed in detail and its wide range of possible applications explained.

Another highlight was the presentation of the “Adam App”, which was developed for the documentation and monitoring of systems - a valuable tool that makes the management of systems even more efficient. The exchange on EU Regulation No. 573/2024, which prescribes a gradual reduction in the use of HFC gases in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, was also informative.

Cosmotec has already decided to use gases with a low GWP (Global Warming Potential), which not only reduces the carbon footprint but also significantly reduces the environmental impact of their products.

Apart from the intensive training, there was also enough time to visit Cosmotec's impressive production facility and enjoy the distinctive Italian food. A big thank you to Luca Roncoletta, Fabio Grossule and Volker Plura for the excellent organization and the inspiring discussions. It was an extremely productive and entertaining time at Lake Garda!
